Rhonda & I Are Getting Hitched (Oct 23, 2010) l did it!, On my last trip to Cali to see Pookie Bear, I made it official, not  that she had to wait too long or anything... what’s 6 years? I decided to do  something a little less orthodox and I popped the big question at the Reef-  a-Palooza coral trade show in Costa Mesa Fair Grounds.... you can read  more here, or here.  Moved to Texas (Mar 28, 2010) Made the move, finally did what I have been saying I was going to do for  the last 10 years... got my ass out of California while the getting was still  good. Admittedly I should have listened to myself back in 2008 when my  little 1,040 sqft condo was still worth more than $500K. but hindsight is  always 20/20, but I still managed to do quite well, so it all worked out.  Oh... I LOVE TEXAS!! BTW  Joined The “Official” Texas Club (Jan 18, 2011)  To be honest I am surprised it took me this long, but Joel finally kicked my  ass and signed us up for the 12 hour (which is time I will never get back)  CHL class, which was put on by Texas Handgun Academy. Although it was  a notch above traffic school, I did learn a lot. Now that all the paperwork  has been filed, its just a cool 3-6 months for good old Uncle Obama to get  through all the paperwork and do the background...
